Vocations to the Priesthood or Religious Life
St Joseph’s has been blessed with vocations through the years. We thank God for the service of Mgr Peter Verity who has recently retired as Spiritual Director at the Beda Seminary in Rome, and also Mgr Joseph Branson who died Earlier this year. In addition we keep in our prayers Sr Emma Maria who is in a community in Spain, the Sisters of the Home of the Mother. It would be strange for a young person not to consider whether the Lord is calling them to follow Him as a religious sister, a religious brother or as a priest.
Please do not be afraid to speak to one of the priests. In addition, the Diocese has a Vocations Director, Canon Luiz Ruscillo, who has served at St Joseph’s in the past, and who is always available to help those who are trying to work out what the Lord is calling them to,
